CVD coated carbide grades for ductile iron. CA4115 is ideal for high speed
continuous machining of ductile iron due to the thick multilayered coating
technology. CA4120 is an excellent choice for interrupted cutting of gray or
ductile iron due to crack-free coating technology.
CVD coated carbide grades for steel. The new bright gold coating
technology prevents chip adhesion, sudden fracture and reduces cutting
forces. The crack-free coating technology provides higher productivity.
CVD coated carbide grades for stainless steel. Advantages include
minimized notching, burr prevention and reduced edge build-up and
adhesion.
Features our expanded Grooving System. Grooving, threading, face
grooving and deep grooving. Cermet, carbide and ceramic grades. Unique
Kyocera MY Chipbreaker. A complete system for all your grooving needs.
Good chip evacuation at small depths of cut and high feed rates. Low
cutting resistance. Improved chip evacuation when profi ling and
pulling up. Combined with the CA55 series, high efficiency and long
tool life is assured for shaft profiling.
Introducing our latest ceramic technology. KX213 Cell Fiber Ceramic is
ideal for roughing nickel, iron, and cobalt alloys and hard materials.
Cell fiber ceramic
consists of a honeycomb-like structure featuring a matrix of hard
center
cores surrounded by a tough outer shell. The technology produces a very
tough
and extremely hard ceramic material.
Introducing our latest CBN technology. The uniform distribution of the CBN material
improves both wear resistance and toughness. KBN510 is for general purpose
and finishing of hardened steels while KBN525 is ideal for interrupted
machining of hardened steels.
The super fine grain structure promotes excellent surface finishes and provides
good wear and fracture resistance with a strong cutting edge.
The Magic Drill is an indexable drill with four available corners to promote
increased machining efficiency. Excellent chip control makes the drill cut
more reliably and smoothly. The Magic Drill Brochure features 2x, 3x, and 4x
diameter cutting drills. Available insert grades include PR660, PR730, and
PR930. Information on the Adjustable Sleeve, which allows the adjustment of
the cutting diameter on machining centers, is also included.
The MEC-series cutters are designed to offer higher productivity. The unique
design lowers cutting forces, withstands heavier cuts and allows for
increased feedrates. A silver coating and larger chip pocket radius protect
the tool. There are six insert radii, 0.016", 0.031", 0.047",
0.063", 0.079", and 0.122" available in cast iron, steel, and
stainless steel grades.
Extra fine-pitch increases machining efficiency, lowers cutting forces and is ideal for lower horsepower machines. Available inserts include PR830 for steel, PR905 for cast iron and PR925 for stainless steel.
A monster of a cutter. Double the metal removal rate and double the
productivity. Notched inserts promote larger depths of cut and excellent chip
control. Heavy machining with low cutting forces.
The Strong Bar is a boring bar with an internal damper that reduces vibration,
increasing machining efficiency. The Strong Bars are available for minimum
bores ranging from 0.472" up to 1.25". Both CCMT and WPMT inserts
are available in coated carbide and cement grades.
The Ultra Drill Mill is a two flute effective, multi-function endmill. It has
improved stability and low cutting resistance. The silver shank coating
protects the tool from chip wear and promotes a long tool life. The Ultra
Drill Mill cutting diameter ranges from 0.63" to 1.98". Inserts are
available in the new coated carbide PR830
